We meet on the evening of every third Wednesday of the month seven times a year.
We exclude June - September and December.
We meet at the Masonic Hall, Queen's Road, Fareham, PO16 0NN

2012 LODGE SUBSCRIPTION

The Lodge subscriptions for 2012 will not change they will stay at £130.00. (please note the treasurers report at GP meeting January 2012 quoting £135 is wrong).
To be paid by the 31st September 2012 (or see before)
Those wishing to pay by 'standing order' the rules are;- £40.00 by January 31st 2012, £30.00 by 31st March 2012, £30.00 by 30th June 2012 and £30.00 by 30th September 2012.

Lodge of Instruction Festival.

Please find below an invitation to a Lodge of Instruction Festival.
If you are free on December 12th, I believe this will be a great evening.
Of the 19 Lodges in the Fareham & Gosport Group, The Prince of Wales
Lodge is the last one to continue to stage a Lodge of Instruction
Festival. Historically, this was one of the highlights of the local
Masonic calendar and up to just a few short years ago we regularly had
attendances of over 100. Sadly that has dwindled over the past few years
but we still achieve attendances of over 50 to see the ‘younger’
Brethren perform a variety of lectures. This event continues to enjoy
tremendous support from Province and we always see a wonderful ‘turn
out’ from Grand Lodge Officers. This year is no different with at least
12 Grand Officers having confirmed their attendance.
We very much hope to be able to resurect the appeal of the Festival and
are contacting all other local Lodges to invite Brethren to attend. This
year’s Lecture will be staged on Monday 12th December at the very
‘work-friendly’ starting time of 6:45 PM. Dress is normal Masonic
Regalia. The Lodge of Instruction will be presenting a brand new Lecture
this year entitled, “A Tour of the Lodge Offices”. The subject will
involve taking a newly Initiated Brother on a tour of all the Offices of
a Regular Lodge (together with some ‘other’ positions) and is therefore
particularly suitable for the newer Mason. The work in the Lodge of
Instruction is followed by a full three course (Christmas fare) Masonic
Festive Board followed by mince pies & cheese and biscuits and a super
raffle. Please support this tradition by contacting the Lodge of

During a meeting last evening at the Phoenix Rooms in Portsmouth there was an intruder.
Mobile telephones, cameras and even complete Masonic cases were stolen.
Please ensure that premises are locked whilst meetings are in progress
